Dr Jim Walker – Asia
Now the chief economist of Aletheia Capital (HK) Ltd, he previously founded Asianomics Group; an economics and strategy research & consultancy company. Also a former chief economist at CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets and winner of multiple awards as ‘best economist’ for Asiamoney, Institutional Investor and Greenwich surveys of fund managers. Before moving to Asia, he was a research fellow at the Fraser of Allander Institute and a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow from where he gained his doctorate in economics.
Dr Kim McManus - US
Dr McManus has served as a strategic advisor to senior executives from global companies for more than three decades. She is an expert consultant and researcher with deep qualifications and experience in applied science and organizational behaviour and development. She is adjunct and visiting professor at several universities in the US and the UK and currently serves as a Research Scientist at one of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States.
Professor Jack Dowie – UK
Jack spent 25 years at the Open University where he designed and ran a number of courses including risk and professional judgement & decision making. As a health economist he served on the Appraisals Committee of NICE for ten years. He is now Professor Emeritus at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and also holds Honorary Professorships at the University of Sydney and University of Southern Denmark. He is current focusing on the use of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis in decision making in all settings and at all levels.
Dr Ainslie Jane Waldron – Australia
Ainslie is an experienced board member and expert in governance, strategy, risk, finance and diversity management. She has extensive experience across multiple sectors. Her current role as a non-executive director is with ‘Just Yell Fire’. Previous board roles include with Australian Mensa and a number of educational establishments. She has a doctorate and MBA and is an accomplished public speaker and published business author.
Vincent Rapando – Africa (Kenya)
As a Global Social Entrepreneur, and a Strategic Partnerships and Resource Development advisor for corporate and international not-for-profit organizations, Vincent is currently the Coordinator of the Chandaria Youth Empowerment Program and a board member of Starehe Girls’ Centre. He is the Founding Director of African Entrepreneurial Network Ltd and holds an MBA in Global Social and Sustainable Entrepreneurship from United States International University-Africa.
Eloise Logan – Europe (Italy)
Eloise is a writer and academic editor. As a journalist she has worked, at a senior level, on newspapers, magazines and specialist publications. She has held Communications roles for organisations including IPC Magazines, Samuel Montagu, Shell Expro, the Financial Times and McGraw-Hill/Platts. She is also a writer trainer, giving courses including Writing Better (for Business) and Basics of Journalism for students whose first language is not English. She has also published non-fiction books. She lives in London and Italy.
Dr Maeve Hosier - EU, UK, Ireland
Dr Hosier is an academic lawyer and legal consultant whose research interests include EU Law, Regulation and Governance, Banking and Finance and Human Rights. She currently teaches at City, University of London and also at BPP University. She has published widely, both in academic journals and the general media. Dr Hosier's research, including her work on the Regulation of the Legal Profession, has had a demonstrable impact on policy in a number of jurisdictions.
